CREATION: We are seekers and educators. We don’t travel to get away; we travel to absorb lessons that we did not realize we needed. We seek the education of culture, flavors, history, invention, and architecture to create unique environments.
CONTRAST: Our strategic yet passionate approach to combining inventive design, economies of scale and the affordability of impeccable products that are tangibly different.
CURATION: What objects one chooses to inhabit that personal space becomes a direct reflection of one’s own unique story.
CONTINUITY: Achieving the purity of design by manipulating a given situation in which something happens or exists without stopping or changing. Simply put ... a connected whole.
Established in 1998 and based in Honolulu, Hawaii, we believe and live by an island proverb of “big city small town”. It translates to a philosophy that you are closely connected to your community and accountable for your deeds.
For Shari Saiki Design Studio, it is our nature to forge lasting relationships and loyal bonds with each and every client. Always listening, always educating, always creating and always producing impeccably designed spaces, places, and environments … on time, on scope, on budget.
Our process is precise, interpersonal and transparent. We are designer, project manager, adviser, translator, personal shopper, expediter, tradesman, craftsman, upholstery, manufacturer, Delivery Company, moving crew and installer. We are Shari Saiki Design Studio.
